Park Gate W5

We have looked after the property for our clients for over 10 years. This overseas landlord requested our input on another flat in his London property portfolio.

This 1960’s terraced townhouse in a delightful cul-de-sac in Ealing was looking a little dated when we were asked to help.

We rewired throughout as this had previously been done with surface wiring, making sure light fittings and sockets were all in the most useful places.  The kitchen is compact and had two doors – one from the landing and one from the living room so we closed off the former to give more usable space.  The bathroom and cloakroom fittings were replaced and an area was taken from behind to make room for a spacious shower meaning the ground floor garden room could be used as a bedroom if desired.

We landscaped the rear garden, redecorated throughout, exposed, repaired, sanded and polished the original parquet floor on the first floor and painted the previously dark-stained wood, white.  New window coverings and light fittings helped to brighten it up and make it an attractive option for young families and couples wanting to work from home.

Chambré now lets & manages the property for our client, providing regular updates and statements.
